Blaine Miller, course superintendent and
co-owner is excited about the installation of the new pump house. With this new pump
system the course conditions will be taken to new level for many years to come
We now have the ability to utilize our existing water supply in a better
capacity Miller goes on to say, the course conditions of Cambridge Golf Club
have always been very good, but as the superintendent I am excited to see how much better
my staff and I can make the playing conditions for everyone to enjoy

Carla Munch-Miranda, Co-owner and Associate
Golf Professional is excited to enhance the entrance of the proshop with the new 300 sq ft
veranda. The new look to the front of the proshop will enhance the proshops image as well
as provide all tournaments a central location to register their players. We can also now
carry a larger selection of product because the veranda can act as an outdoor proshop. I
feel all of our guests will enjoy the new look to the proshop in the spring"

Al Graham, newly appointed Head Professional at
Cambridge Golf Club is looking forward to the 2008 golf season and the improvements at
Cambridge Golf Club.
It is great to see the work being put into the course under the new ownership. The
expansion of the pond on 18 will dramatically improve drainage as well as playability of
the hole. Although the fairway and landing area is the same width as in the past, you must
be pin-point accurate off the tee or else you will be in the water left or trees right,
says Al Graham. The addition of the pond on the second hole will turn the short par
5 into a long par 5. Your tee shot must be in the fairway or else you will not have the
opportunity to reach this green in two shots. The pond is reachable from every tee deck
and will be a visible distraction as you hit your drive. I am excited to hear
what the members and guests will say about the changes to the course and am very excited
to be a part of everything that takes place here
If you are a regular player here you will enjoy it, if you have not played here in a
few years this is the time to come back and see all the upgrades |
